Gilford family

Monday night we went to dinner with the Gilford family. I am really going to miss them. Taydom and Micheal were great friend. They clicked so well. A little peir persure (the good kind) can go a long way. I will miss Amy so much. It's not very often you meet someone that you just hit it off with. I will miss our conversations and her stories of her life . She is so amazing and a woulderfully mother.

Hi everyone!
I see that you arrived safely. We miss you all so much. Michael didn't want to go back to school because Taydom wouldn't be there (or on the bus for that matter.) He is settling down some and meeting new kids. We just got back from Acadia. We had a fantastic time. We did a lot of climbing, hiking, biking and digging in the sand.
I have just finished learning the 24 form tai chi and will now learn the 34 sword tai chi form. I love the interaction and the discipline and after the teacher goes back to China, I'll be helping to teach others. Something totally unrelated to children, which is a nice break for me.
No news on who will work with Michael after school. This weekend, we will do a major cleaning, sorting, and throwing out of damaged toys, old games....
We are going to set up a shelf down in the basement to store games so that they will all be in their boxes when we are ready to play with them.
We have had a lot of peaches. I'm glad you have gotten some veggies out of your garden.
They are finally today, Fri. Aug. 29 paving Davis St. It has been a mess with school buses having to detour to pick up kids. They have to pick the kids up 15 minutes early so that they can make it for the start of school.
I lost 5 lbs. on vacation. We hiked for hours and did a 15 mile bike ride. I really want to keep up the exercise and continue to loose.
Hope you are all settling in. We hope to buy the equip. to video on the computer. Michael is so ready to talk and see Taydom. On vacation, Michael kept saying, Taydom would love this or Taydom would love to do that... Hope he meets someone in CO who he can be close buddies with. Maybe he is more mature and is ready for more than when you were there 1 1/2 years ago.
All the best.
From the Guilfords.

check out www.bookworminthewoods.blogspot.com.I've just set up a blog site, not much but a start. Is it a cooincidence that when I signed on to your blog site, it gave me the name bookworm? I figured that I love reading, my house looks like a virtual forest of books and I enjoy the outdoors, so being a bookworm in the woods would be like an angel in heaven. Keep in touch. Amy Guilford
