About a week ago Taydom got a loose tooth. He started wiggling it and it began to hurt. After 2 days the pain was getting worse I decided we should have it looked at. Monday afternoon the dentist told me that everything looked good and there was nothing wrong. He could not do anything about the pain expect pull the tooth. Taydom said no and that he wanted to pull it out himself. We went home and for 2 days and 2 nights all he did was cry. He could not sleep or eat. I called the dentist and got another appointment. This time Taydom was ready and the dentist was able to pull the tooth. Taydom said it did not hurt at all and was very surprised how easy it was.
We kept gos in his mouth for the full two hours while the numbing medicine wore off. I did not want him to bite this lips and cause a sore. He was very brave. I thing he was happy to get the sore tooth out.

Me and my big tummy
June 4 I had a ultrasound. I scheduled it so the kids could come too. They were very excited to see the baby. We were able to see a good picture of the face and hands but when it came to finding out if it was a boy or girl the baby did not want us to see. The technician said it was not a good picture but it could be a girl. She could not conform it being a girl but said it "might" be a girl. The tech kept saying it was not a good picture. So we still do not know. Either way we are happy and just want a health strong child.

Children's Museum
The other day was a free day at the Children's Museum. We had never been there before and so I packed up the kids and headed downtown. Outside the museum was a some really cool rock formations. It took the kids awhile to notice them but once they did they loved them too.
Vilate enjoyed play in the restaurant kitchen. She made me some healthy yummy food to eat.
Taydom loved the ant hill. They had under ground tunnels that he crawled around in. He's getting a little too big for this but stilled thought it was fun.
They both loved the basket ball court. The hoop was lower and they made a tone of baskets. They played on the court for close to a hour. The next day they both complained their arm and butts hurt. I'm sure it was all the running and shooting they did. Vilate loved the spin art too. It was so simple we could do it at home. All you need is some paper, paint, and a salad spinner.
That night the kids fell asleep fast. It was a fun day for everyone.

Being Spontaneous
My brother Abe needed to go downtown and asked me to give him a ride to the light rail train. I had not been downtown sense Christmas and so I just drove him instead. I love the downtowns of cites. After driving him down there and getting everything done he needed to do we just decided to say and spend the day. We hung out and just enjoyed the afternoon. We road the 16th street trolley, had lunch, went in to many fancy hotel lobbies, and visited the capital.
The kids loved to watch the street performers. The performers loved to hear them laugh and respond as they preformed. Inside the Hard rock cafe.
The kids loved the inside of the capital with all it's fancy decor. It was hard to convince them that it was not gold everywhere but just brass.
We got to go to the very top of the capital building. I had never been up there before. We had a great view for the court house.
Everyone was very tired by the end of day. Taydom was the only one with good shoes on, the rest of us only had flip flops. My feet hurt all that night and a good part of the next day too. I guess that what you get for being spontaneous, but we had a great time.

Playing in the dirt
We finally got out garden in. The kids helped and it got done quickly. I put them in charge of breaking up the piete moss and mixing it up into the dirt. I did not tell them what pietemoss really is, but I made them wash their hand REALLY well after. We planted Peas, Carrots, Lettuce and Cucumbers that day. About a month ago we planted zucchini , green beans, pumpkins, and peppers in small cups inside. They have been growing well and needed to be transplanted. The kids love to see their plants grow and it will be great to have fresh veggie too.

Feed the ducks
Not too far from our house is a small park and pond with ducks and geese. When I was a child I use to go to our local duck pound alot and feed the duck. We had some old bread sitting around the kitchen and down the pond we went. At first the kids were not sure what to do but they got the hand of it quickly. They had a great time.
