Our first Harvest

Vilate brought home form school a green bean plan they started in a small cup. We planted it in a pot with soil I composted a few year ago in Colorado. The small plant soon became the biggest plant in the garden. (I guess the composting I did really worked) This last Saturday Vilate picked alot of green beans off her plant. She washed, prepped and ate them. She was so proud of her green beans. She did share a little with Tyson and I. They were very good, there is nothing like fresh veggie from the garden. Her bean plant still has more beans growing in it so I am sure we will have another harvest in a few days.
